Ryan Smyth

President & CEO

Ryan Smyth brings over 20 years of success in growing technology companies to lead Carbon60 to become the trusted choice for businesses to build, manage, and modernize their critical cloud infrastructure. Previously, Ryan was Carbon60’s EVP & CFO since 2019 and helped build the company organically and through strategic acquisitions making Carbon60 a leading cloud professional and managed services provider. During his career, Ryan has been actively involved in the successful completion of over 100 M&A transactions. In 2011, he co-founded Wireless Evolution Inc. and as CEO grew the business from $0 to over $100 million USD prior to negotiating a successful exit in 2018. Ryan is a CPA, holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School General Management Program.

Fred Bullock

SVP, Business Solutions

Fred Bullock joined the Carbon60 team in 2019 as SVP of Business Solutions. Fred has been engaged in IT and entrepreneurial ventures for more than 25 years, including several IT firms offering network-based solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS). Most recently, Fred was Co-Founder and CEO of Cirrus9 (acquired by Carbon60 in 2019), a Canadian cloud computing and hosted solutions company based in Saint John, NB. Fred holds a B. Commerce & Engineering from Mount Allison University and an MScE from the University of New Brunswick.

Anton Mishel

SVP, Professional Services

With 20 years of industry experience and a decade in executive leadership, Anton founded OpsGuru (acquired by Carbon60 in 2021) to help organizations cope with the challenges of a constantly evolving technical landscape. Prior to starting OpsGuru, Anton led the architecting and delivery of multiple Big Data and cloud-based platforms in roles that included CIO of Israel’s largest news portals, as well as CIO at one of the world’s leading genomics companies.

Paul Podolny

SVP, MSP Operations

Paul brings over a decade of experience in Solution Architecture and Site Reliability Engineering. In his previous roles Paul has assisted businesses and enterprises navigate complex cloud journeys. He has also developed a number of global scale web platforms for some of the worlds largest media organizations.

Chief Revenue Officer

Adam is responsible for leading the OpsGuru professional services and Carbon60 MSP sales and marketing teams. Adam has worked with hundreds of organizations across North America to ensure successful cloud and business transformations. He strives to enable organizations to utilize cutting-edge technologies to advance their businesses.

Robin Percy

Chief Technology Officer

Robin brings nearly two decades of software engineering and operational experience to our leadership team and client engagements. As a member, committer, and reviewer within the Kubernetes community, he specializes in designing, building, and operating scalable, cloud-native platforms.

Peter Kelly

CISO & Chief Privacy Officer

Peter is the Chief Information Security Officer & Chief Privacy Officer for Carbon60 overseeing compliance programs for our organization and providing expert guidance to customers on their complex security requirements. Peter was the original founder of Carbon60 (formerly ETS.net) as a consulting company in 1999 specializing in web application infrastructure and security services. Peter attended the University of Toronto with a concentration in Computer Science. He is co-author of the first publicly available commercial Open Source book for O’Reilly & Associates, “Using Samba”.

Kevin He - Carbon60 VP of Finance & Admin

Kevin He

VP, Finance and Administration

Kevin oversees both the Finance and People & Culture teams at Carbon60. He brings over two decades of progressive working experience in accounting, financial planning & analysis, M&A, project management, system implementation & integration, etc. Kevin is a CPA, holds MBA from Saint Mary’s university.
